BCP Lab
Context
BCP is the leading bank in Peru and the last years it has been looking to push things forward and really be a synonym for innovation in the coming years.
For this reason, they asked the team to create a new concept for its new branch that would be placed near their headquarters.

After the research phase and designing different scenarios for this vision that BCP will take in the following years, we zero on the concept of a two-part branch. One will be the front and where they will deliver business as usual but with a little twist. And in the back, there will be a laboratory where the teams will be designing and prototyping new artifacts and experiences that they will test directly on the branch. If it works, they can deploy those to the rest of the branches.
The branch itself had to be built from the ground up, combining different disciplines. We put together a team of architects, service, interior, digital and business designers.
Several innovations were applied to this branch; from the fact that we removed cash completely, to the flow design of the space, ATMs, self check-in, queue management, possibility to arrange online appointments and the redesign of the roles of the bank employees empowering them with digital tools to manage traffic and solve as fast as possible.
